Nervecell are seeking replacement for their session drummer Alan, who is no longer a session drummer for the band. He is now to continue with his band Nephelium, a death metal band and very close friends with Nervecell, also played shows together previously. Nervecell would like to thank Alan for all the good times behind the kit and they wish him and his band the best of luck in their metal journey.

Nervecell is looking for a serious and hardworking drummer who lives in Dubai and must be into extreme drumming (thrash metal/death metal/hardcore).

Interested drummers can contact us on info@nervecell.net

A new interview is now online. The band was interviewed last month by Dimple John of local magazine Young Times, mainly discussing the band's experience at Dubai Desert Rock festival 2005 with Sepultura, Machine Head and other international acts. This time this interview is a bit "special", because its a magazine mostly read by the kids out there! So its a special "death metal treat" to all you kiddies! ;)

Sup guys, Rami here, hope you doing great. I was just informed today by a very close friend of mine (who’ve spent his time in Damascus, Syria for the past 3 weeks) that our EP ‘Human Chaos’ is being sold in some underground record store in Damascus illegally! This probably happened when someone purchased our CD then gave it to the store to replicated it, and obviously pirated the copies, then started selling the copy equivalently for 2 US dollars!!! Now before I continue, I wanna mention that this could be a “positive” thing for a band like us…with no real record deal, and no real media support in the area. We know that the kids over there will hear about our record and most probably buy it, find out who the hell is Nervecell, and maybe spread the word about the band which is great. But I gotta say that this is not the right way. We have worked really hard on the recording, the production, the pressing and everything else and now someone we don’t know is taking away all the hard work and selling it for his own sake in an illegal way. We don’t give a crap about the cash the dude is making, but what we give a crap about is the support really. We think it sucks to have it this way! We just want everyone to be informed about this, because if you lived in Syria and wanted our record, you can go ahead and buy it, but please remember that we had no idea what so ever neither of what happened nor approving what happened. So, from me and the rest of the band to the record store owner; A BIG FAT FUCK YOU! … Please spread the word. Not the “fuck you part” but regarding the piracy ;)

If you are interested in our record please support the band directly by purchasing it from us by clicking here, or if you live in Canada & USA, can simply order it online via The Metal Observer’s mail order by clicking here

Have a good day.

Rami Mustafa (Nervecell guitarist)
