'Heavy Metal Thunder' the rock/metal radio show on Dubai's Radio 2 /
99.2 FM hosted every Wednesday from 9pm till midnite was pulled off due
to a person's complaint. There was no reason mentioned regarding the
complaint, but due to that, the radio show got pulled off by the radio
station's management. But its not over! You can email the management
(Mr. Chris) of the radio station at this address (chris_rose@emi.ae) or
alternatively contact the station, 04-3322987 (Chris, Jeffrey Manual or
Kamal) and request him/them to get the show back on air / not cancel the
show. So please do that to support the rock/metal community and get back
the only rock/metal show in the UAE. The more emails and phone calls,
the bigger chance for the show to be back!

Gulf Weekly, the Bahraini based magazine held an interview with
the band last week. The issue will be released next Thursday, 30th of
December. It will be out in the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait
& Qatar. Make sure you grab a copy!

Nervecell are extremely saddened by the tragic loss of legendary
guitarist Dimebag Darrell. Everyone of us is a die-hard Pantera &
Dimebag fan...we all lost an awesome person, a great composer and an
awesome guitarist. Dime's music will always be a part of us...R.I.P

FM this Wednesday, 1st of December from 9 pm to 12 am. Some songs will

The songs are now fully mixed and mastered, all done yesterday and ready
for pressing. All songs are recorded, mixed and mastered by Kiran
Sequeira and co-mixed by Nervecell guitarist Rami Mustafa. The band are
extremely happy with the results and they hope the record will interest
alot of listeners. Now as we mentioned before that some technical
problems occured while mixing thats why they had some delays. The actual
release will be after pressing all the copies. We appologize again for
making you wait all this time, but its soon to come...

Today, we were expecting to know the final release date, but
unfortunately there are slight problems concerning the production of the
EP. This will delay us a little bit. Remember this is not a disaster,
it's just so you know that the EP will be out after the 20th of October
for sure. Stay tuned!

The forthcoming EP 'Human Chaos' will be released through Nerve
Damage Productions - an independent metal distro/label owned by
guitarist and producer Ramy Azizia and co-managed by the band. This will
be the first release for Nerve Damage Productions in association
with RPP Production & Press releasing exclusively 500 copies in the UAE
and for distro all around the globe. Release date - very soon!

The band has been busy mixing in the studio for the last week, and so
far so good, alot has been done and everything is sounding great. Stay

Recording is going on time, and an expected release will be October
2004. It was confirmed that the album will include 5 tracks and will be
released in limited quantities for the October - December 2004 time
period. The band have finished recording 4 tracks and currently working

Dubai based Progressive Death Metal act Nephelium will be playing on the
7/7/2004 Abu Dhabi gig. This will be the second time for both bands to
share the same stage. Also as a quick note that Mark wont make it to
this gig, instead Alan of Nephelium will fill on drums for Nervecell.

After their long break, the band with the full line-up will be
performing live at the upcoming Sound Society event WARM UP. The gig

The band welcomes Mark Deeb to be the new man behind the drum kit. "I
am very excited to work with Nervecell. We will definatly bring back the

After talks with Barney who is out of the country, he inform the band
that he will be coming back to Dubai in May and a decision has been made
regarding a private gig. A more of a reunion gig for the band is
expected in late May or early June 2004. Stay tuned!

Nervecell regrouped after the long break. The band is expected to come
back to it's full line-up soon and bring back ear aching music. Barney,
the founder of the band is out of the country and will be back soon.
Meanwhile the drummer Hatem is out of the country too but he's probably
not coming back. The rest of Nervecell are here in Dubai.
